After-school Care

A familiar place to relax, play and grow after school

For Primary families who need care beyond the school day, OIA partners with UniKidz, a bilingual Dutch–English after-school care provider located directly within the OIA Primary building.

Having after-school care on campus creates a familiar transition at the end of the school day. Children can move from school into a warm and relaxed environment where there is time to play, be active, spend time with friends and explore new interests.

Bilingual care in an international community

English and Dutch are both used within the UniKidz environment. This complements OIA’s multilingual approach and gives children opportunities to build confidence across languages in an informal and playful setting.

UniKidz welcomes children aged 4 to 13 and aims to create a homelike environment where children can be themselves, recharge after school and develop at their own pace.

Activities and development

The UniKidz programme offers a varied range of activities organised around four development areas:

  • FitKidz – sport and movement
  • SkillsKidz – making and creating
  • SoulKidz – heart and soul
  • MindKidz – development and education

Together, these areas give children opportunities to move, create, discover new interests and spend their afternoon in a way that feels both enjoyable and meaningful.
